If it is Not meant to be...it will fizzle and Die on its own.

my Body aches for you.
you have awakened a Part of me that I wanted to lay to Rest...
because it would be too Painful for me to have Desires
and no longer have the Means to fulfill them.
Don't play with my Emotions...

When I Offer Myself, my Love, my Life...
I want to know it means SOMETHING to you.

FORWARD IN FAITH

My heart is breaking,
Empty and all alone.
I’m forced to relearn
To live on my own.
My life mate has gone,
Simply tossed me aside.
Now into the unknown,
I must blindly ride.
So much confusion,
Thoughts all unclear.
Nights lasting forever.
Waiting for daylight to near.
Being merely human,
Not knowing what to do,
I pray to Almighty GOD
For strength to get through
No matter our future,
Together or apart,
Memories of our life
Will live deep in my heart.
Unimaginable pain,
Cutting deep within.
Knowing soon my survival
Instinct must kick in.
Not knowing how, what, where, or why
Left with no alternatives, I will not die.
Frightened to face the future.
Where will be my place?
This too shall end.
In that I have faith.
Onward I must go,
A new future to see.
Stronger I’ll become
By what doesn’t kill me.

The Woman Inside

So many years spent hidden inside
To open myself up would be risking vulnerability
Too many times I’ve heard how unacceptable I am
Steady brainwashing over two thirds of my life
Daily affirmations drilled into the subconscious
Words which seem never to end buried deep within
Simple words, what power they are given
Pain as deep and sharp as an arrow in the heart
Who gives these words such power, the archer or the target?

If there is any dark side in the beautiful piece of work I certainly do not see it, rather believe there is a great deal in your words that many of us can relate too.

Here is one I wrote back in 2002-I have no lineage to Poe although I hestitate to post mine because of my dark side

Cerebral Hemorrhage

my angry thoughts on a mountain top
overlooking the fog below
in the midst i see the world
struggling down below
to dream a dream of maddened scenes
and screaming from the massive blow
who better than myself to challenge my opinion
yours' is your own, because i do not listen
i write a song to honor you in all that you achieve
and in your greatness you will
see how much you mean to me
to you i am absolutely nothing
to me you mean everything
i'll fill it all from front to back
line after line of chilling facts
i see no end to my lifeline
i move around with no concept of time
my stagnant life is not blind
but i refuse to keep on trying
this blinding suicide
slow deterioration of of the mind
leads to senality, i'm losing all feeling inside
becoming numb, i sigh
a foul stench has come upon my existence
a twisted soul such as mine
a lost fool of death presents itself
makes aware my heart is blind
the fake desert sun in my dreams
never bakes down on me
until i begin to cry
there is no water to dry my eyes
the problems still arise
all in the name of Christ
will he deliver me from my demise?
i cannot die
i cannot die
look deeply into my eyes

Order of Things

Man, see how the immutable
Law of nature affects all things.
Consider the season of autumn
When leaves turn orange, yellow,
Or brown – their time is up!
Winds are sent whirl

and whip them down
And Mother Nature watches
As they make fluttering dance
Until they detach

from the residing stalks
Spiraling twirling

and sliding in the air
Till they carpet the earth
Forming an exquisite beauty

of mosaic hues
Trees once clothed are left bare
Waiting to be re-clothed

with green and glossy ones
By the spring god.
