An Old Friend

Once I had a good friend who was closer to me than a sister. Her name was Rhonda and we just called her Wonder Woman. She stole a tombstone once of a legend Tom Dooley that was in Quaker Meadows. We were young and crazy and we rented a blue house across the street from a local funeral home where I would steal flowers from. She was found dead in the blue house from an overdose back in the '90's. She had lain there for three days before someone found her body. I remember cleaning the blood from the tile that had run out of her mouth. I sold her stuff and paid for the cheap funeral and bought her a marker for her grave with her name and birth and death date and a rose etched on it.Never will forget her.
